Paraffin Toxicity: The candles burning in churches and temples throughout the world are made of paraffin wax, a cheap but poisonous byproduct of oil refineries. A study done at South Carolina State University in 2009 linked the chemicals found in paraffin candle fumes to cancer, birth defects, and such respiratory problems as asthma. This is not good. Our candles are made from 100% palm wax, a non-toxic, clean burning, renewable resource. This is good. This is GoodLight.
